We are born differently. Success will come to us based on the conditions we grew up with. A guy in a mansion will see his success different from that guy from the hut house. Success to that rich kid can be his freedom in the future but to that poor kid, success is having the peace of mind to sleep and relax in his own house.
The school was a thing that many had the schools they would go to. Many understand the dynamics of what goes into high school and others. I was the other kid from the other side. I was never exposed to maybe google the senior high schools we had, the best out of them, what I believed in was, that wherever I go, I will make it out. This is what I will be talking about today.
In education, it doesn’t mean you should figure it all out before starting. Be great in class, do your chores, and fly above what they thought you couldn’t. Life isn’t about that race everyone is running. Choose your path even in education, go at your own pace and you will be surprised you will get there with those who had it all figured out.
Practically with me, when it was time to complete junior high school in Tamale, I had no senior high school in mind. Everyone was running around with the best schools they could go to—the best they could imagine and the best that exists. For me, I saw every school to be a school. A school contains classrooms and teachers and we will all do the same at the end of the day. So whatever school comes my way, is my sure bet to make it out alive and great.
From there I decided to choose a school. That school wasn’t chosen based on my interest but I ended up going there that person who motivated me to go for it had a change of mindset. Today, we are all after high school and have completed university. We are great men now and that didn’t count whether I had it figured out or not. I will always say, “Let life carry you along. It knows what the future holds. But choosing a path for its befitting nature might be the most dangerous road you will ever take and life won’t advise you on that.” Make your decision and never be too bored when it's not making sense now.
Education is that simple and we all can make it through. Learn to be the best; when you are the best, the best will cause you to build that future for you.
Stay blessed and keep learning to be better.
