It was the winter of 2010. Only thirteen, soon to be fourteen, years have passed since then but it feels like it happened a lifetime ago.

I was driving around the central or northern parts of Istra and I took a few photographs along the way. I recognize some of the stuff in the old photographs I'm presenting in today's post but I only vaguely recall the area in which they were taken.

Here you can see the door of an old house in the "Frlan Milana" street. I know the street, I know the number, but I have no idea in what town or village this photograph could have been taken.

This last shot is an exception that proves the rule. I know these reeds very well. They grow by the side of the road, more or less halfway between my hometown and the city of Pula.

Honestly this one does speak in eloquence, with the finger-like branches spread to the sky, as in supplication.
And the bareness and the colours of golden fire shows it was Autumn.
I wish to visit a place like this alone, when there is no one with me, i want to sit there and relax for sometime.

Almost Fourteen winters, looks like really quite place.
It's 5 years ago, a river in winter. Took this from over a bridge.
That's all are the great old memories. I really love the autumn trees now a days I just wanna go at these calm places. It makes me realize that endings are also beautiful. Lovely

Very wintry in a quiet way ... a sense of the depth and the length of winter, away from the lights of the holidays...
The building is old and some parts are damaged, but it can still stand strong. I like old buildings like this
Great place to visit
I myself had been two days back to the same beautiful places and the trees were looking like that all the leaves had fallen from them and fell down and their color had changed but still The whole look was very soothing, very relaxing.

Winter of 2010, that's quite a long period of time. The area was quiet then, I hope it has much difference now.
The barren tree looks like it's gonna catch fire with just flashlight. It looks so straight.

You can make simple objects beautiful in photographs.
The house looks dilapidated and old. But the objects that appear like windows look strange.

Those autumn trees looks very attractive even in their barren state. The tallest tree looks more barren but I admire how straight it is.
