Faridpur Tour
After almost two months, I am writing again. After Eid, I left Dhaka and went to Faridpur, which is where the Padma Bridge is located. I needed a break from work, so I visited a friend there. Faridpur City has always been one of my favorite places because of the people and the environment. I have been visiting since I was a child and I feel a special connection to the place. I left for the bus station at 6 in the morning and caught a bus that left Dhaka around 7. I arrived in Faridpur at 11:30 and took a rickshaw to my friend's house. After having breakfast and resting for a while, I went out to explore the city. It was scorching outside, so I went to a restaurant called "Serene Garden" for lunch, which had a very nice ambiance.
I took some pictures to capture the moment. After lunch, I visited the Baisakhi fair, which was crowded with people since it was a Friday. I spent the evening at the fair and then went to another place for dinner. After dinner, I headed back home. The next day I went out in the afternoon to a village near the river, a beautiful environment. I am giving some pictures for reference.
In the afternoon I went to have a coffee at that place. I rode for some time on the bike that day. There is a short video that I am giving. I bought a ticket to go back home the next day. The bus left Faridpur at 8 am the next day. I reached home at 12 after that.
