Hello amazing people,it's always refreshing am and glad to be here,to learn and to also share my thoughts on scriptures.
I know as humans we all have a spirit, a soul and a body.
That's how God created us and each part of it has a vital role in our existence
Taking a look at our spirit man,the devil's target is to subdued our spirit because he knows that if he can control our spirit then the victory is his.
By God's special grace the devil won't succeed in our lives.
The best way to intimidate the devil is for us to build up capacity in our spirit man.Yes, that's what terrifies the devil.
Therefore,how do we develop our spirit man so that we can withstand the devil's plans
Here are few things.
- The word of God: Reading and studying of the word of God gives life to our spirit.
John 6:63 (KJV) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
A consistent prayer life:
Having a consistent prayer life fuels our spirit,it makes us stronger while frustrating the scheme of the devil.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV) Pray without ceasing.Praying in the holyghost
Jude 1:20 (KJV) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
- Wisdom
The bible had already said that wisdom is a principal thing, therefore,with wisdom the spirit can ne waxed strong
Luke 2:40 (KJV) And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
- Singing or listening to spiritual songs:
Colossians 3:16 (KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- Faith
Walking with God desire faith, therefore it's important to walk in the consciousness of who God is .tackling situation based on who God is, not by sight or fear.
Habakkuk 2:4 (KJV) Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
- Positive mindset
Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Our christian strength isn't measured by our physical strength or height,but it's based how strong and how effective our spirit is.
