I love supporting smaller ministries that publish bibles rather than giving money to the major publishing corporations...There's something special about things that are hand made, built with love and don't try to make bibles that are out of reach for so many!

This was my first dive into a Church Bible Publishers bible.

A small but quite successful ministry and publishing company from America.

Here's the details from the 180 Handsize Text Bible.

Product Code: 180RLC1BK

Cover: Ironed Calfskin Leather

Text Size: 10 size font size

Measurements: 8.75″ x 6″ x 1.5″

Smyth-Sewn binding

Red Letter Text

Printed in USA

Overall: The product is remarkable for the price you pay. It's actually quite affordable for such a solid profut. But I'll be honest, I wish I had purchased a wide margin instead, just because I'm in the market for one, and think with the quality of these products, the wide margin text version would have been perfect.

The biggest surprise to me, was the paper. It's really good. Combined with the amazing red letter in the new testament, this is a fantastic product.

Only complaint, but it's because the paper is great quality, it's a bit on the thick side of things. But it lays flat with just minimal breaking it. I'm a fan of CBP now for sure and I completely understand why others rave about them!

Woah! I was going to ask if you'd read the "Translators to the Reader" preface as it is omitted from most versions of the KJV. I have it in a bible I inherited from my late father. The note in square brackets is in my edition too (Cambridge University Press, for the Trinitarian Bible Society).

Yeah that's so true, finding Translators is super hard in today's bibles. TBS has it in the Westminster I know that, and the CBP ones seem to include it a lot.

Only regret I have buying this bible is that I should have grabbed the wide margin version. It would have been the perfect option for me.

No problem with the TBS ribbons so far! LOL!
