Finding The One!

I have an addiction and it's something I hope I never get over :)

I love bibles.

And yeah, obviously, I'm a Christian, I should love bibles right? But it's also on a 'book worm' side of the equation as well. The entire process of opening a book, smelling a book (lol), reading a book....The experience behind it, is something I have treasured for so many years.

My love for the bible is no different.

There is nothing I love more than opening up the Word of God, with a hot beverage in hand, on my couch....And read. And read. And when I'm tired....Read some more!

And with that deep love for reading Scripture, I have been searching for a new 'one'. \

What does that mean?

If you have gone over my bible related posts over the past few years here on the blockchain, you'll know that my old bible was basically in ruins. When I first came to the Lord, all I knew is that I needed to buy a bible.

So I went to the local bookstore and purchased pretty much the cheapest bible I could find.

I didn't know any better. I had no idea about paper GSM, bindings, leather covers, smyth-sewing, nothing that I have become a 'hobby expert' at these days. All I knew was that I needed a bible.

And that was about a decade or so ago and a few years ago I decided it was time to find....A new 'one'. Or as we call it in the bible world....An every day carry!

The search was long and hard....And every time I found one I loved....I found another one that I loved as well. I have way too many bibles now and up until last week, was still waiting to find....The one!

I wanted some many features, and I seemed to only find some in one bible, and some other ones in another. But never could find it all in one...

Well, I thought I did. And even did a video about finding what I thought was....The one, last year.

And I kind of gave up last week on finding the one because....

I'm being way too picky and I love the Westminster Reference!

So this is it....For the time being, this is 'one'!!!
