Is this the world's first non premium...Premium?
Not sure it can be called that but it's truly something unique. This bible was quite popular in the review circles a few years ago, and I actually forgot about it in that time...
Thankfully I was reminded of it a few weeks ago and I remembered that this is something I'd love to get my hands on!
This is the genuine leather version of the Large Print Thinline NKJV in the Maclaren Series. The two big 'selling points' of this bible were promoted as:
- The words of Christ in blue and the luxurious gilt edges.
But there is so much more in between the covers:

- Smooth and soft leather cover
- Edge lined (kind of??)
- 36 GSM paper (I think lol)
- Full color maps
- Double column paragraph layout

I call this a 'tweener' because it's got a lot of premium features, and sometimes when you are holding it you can almost convince yourself that it is a premium bible.
This was my first real look inside it's pages and it didn't disappoint. I'm a verse by verse guy, so the paragraph layout will take some time but overall, it's such a solid bible.

Finding a mix of real leather and high-quality features at a fair price is quite rare.
It's a great bible.
