King Solomon, the wisest king that ever lived called it The Principal Thing Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 The necessity of wisdom for christian living can't be overemphasized because as believers, Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Ephesians 6:12 God knew about it and has provided and equipped us before hand with everything that's everything to contend with them. ***By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3

Devil capitalized on a believer's ignorance, the greatest weapon he ever had to maximize on the ignorance of the believer that's why Paul in this letter to the people of Corinthians admonished them never to be ignorant. lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11* Wisdom brings happiness, knowing God's character and personality gives confidence, boldness and satisfaction. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. Proverbs 3:13 because such a man or person wouldn't be tossed around by every wind of doctrines. There are many composition of wise living and this starts with Fearing the Lord.

Fearing God: The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe as you worship Jehovah-God. To receive the revelation of the Holy One, you must come to the one who has living-understanding. Proverbs 9:10***
Fearing the Lord is basically recognizing his Lordship, that He's the Creator, the Lord of all; He's holy and awesome. There's wisdom in your willingness to submit yourself to His plan for your life. Without this, there is no wisdom, It starts with salvation and continues in reverent humility.Wise living grows by constantly consuming God's Word: God’s Story in the Scriptures God’s Word is perfect in every way; how it revives our souls! His laws lead us to truth, and his ways change the simple into wise. Psalm 19:7 Nothing can match the Bible for showing you the mind of God. The more you sink roots in God through His Word, the more wisdom will mark your life.

Wise Living Requires that We Ask for It Specifically: And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. James 1:5-6 Wisdom is profitable to direct us in everything we have planned to do this year, Let God be involved and ask for His wisdom and you shall have good success.
