Sometimes the reason why God allow the enemy to put your back on the ground is not be because he is heartless and wicked, or the enemy is more stronger than you.
God can allow such situation to happen to you because it is the only way to make you wake up and seek for your deliverance.
Most of us believers are just looking around people who cannot deliver us from the challenges that we are facing. Even when it comes to plants, when the flower faces downward, it shows that plant is dying. But when the flower is facing upward, it shows the plant is growing and thriving.
The reason you are going down as a believer is because you are looking down and around to people who cannot help you instead of looking up to God only.
