This is a new year, and God is requiring so much from you.
And with that being said, one of the things that God wants you to focus on this year is to not seek approval from man. Stop looking for validation from people who serves you no purpose, but look for the approval of God.
Paul said in the book of Galatians, For do I now persuade man or God, or do I seek to please men?
For if I yet pleased man, I am not a servant of God.
When you look for the approval of man, eventually it's going to cause you to sin against God. Because you are more focused on what people think about you, how people look at you, what they perceive of you, till you forget that the approval of God is more important.
If you have to fight or compromise to be accepted by someone that is not of God, let this be a year where you let God take control of your mind. Where you allow God to change your mind. Where you allow God to change your mindset so that you walk in peace.
