The Enemy Can Never Steal My Testimony

So the other day, I kept asking God, why does it feel like I keep fighting the same battles and losing?

Like, I'm tired of losing. I'm tired of going through the same struggles. I feel like I'm defeated. You're the one that said that you gave me the victory.

And the Holy Spirit said, don't confuse your limp with a loss.

There's a story in the Bible where Jacob wrestled with God. He didn't know he was wrestling with God. He was in the form of a man, but God, he was wrestling with him.

And the Bible says because the angel of the Lord saw that Jacob was winning, he pushed his side in and gave him a limp. He didn't give that man a limp because he was losing. So he gave him a limp so he could get out of his face and get out of the way.

The Holy Spirit said, you've been looking at it wrong the whole time. Your scars, your pain, the fact that you're still fighting, your testimony. It's proof that what the enemy tried to do to you could not kill you.
