Lovers of God!
First, I want to thank God for always protecting and guiding me. There was a time I faced a serious challenge that I almost gave up but I remembered that I have a God who never fails.
I came to Lagos with my extended uncle, he is a young man who is into fashion today. He showed me the way of fashion and I followed. He taught me the necessary thing to know about fashion. As time went on, something happened I had to live at my uncle's place in Lagos. I left the family because of the problem that occurred between the elder brother of my boss. I went astray, stranded, confused, hopeless, and I was comfortless.
I remembered the scripture that says, God will never leave me comfortless, I stood by this word and encouraged myself in the lord. That night I left my uncle, I left in an environment that wasn't appealing to any man. Rain fell that day, dripping on the place I slept. I saw God through that night; he protected me and guided me.
These verses encouraged me
Psalms 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
These scriptures encouraged me when I was drowned in the shadow of doom, neglected, and rejected but God told me in his words, He is my shield, He is my rock, He is everything to me.
He clothes me with love and compassion even when I don't deserve it.
This is my story that God is my protection, my covering and buckler.
