Fear is just misplaced faith, meaning that you're believing that what the enemy is sending you is more powerful than God to protect you and cover you.
Then you realize that every time that you're worried or stressed about something, it's the enemy trying to get your focus off of God and onto what he's sending you to distract you from who God can be for you in the situation.
How many times do we wake up stressed and worried about situations, and over the things that you can't control in that moment?
The enemy wants your peace. He wants you to be up all night stressed and worried when you could be focusing on doing kingdom work and doing what you should be doing for the kingdom of God. That is where you have to literally pray and say, Well God, if I'm worried about it, that means I need to talk to you about it because you have the power to step in it and change it.
This is why we pray the serenity prayer.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference".
It's reminding yourself that you're only human and your capacity can only go so far, but God's capacity can supersede yours on any day. Re-put that focus on God and remember who he can be for you in any given situation.

The devil really want us to me find peace in what God say we should avoid, and those things look so good. But if we keep in mind what the Bible says about seeking first the kingdom, we will know that God got out back.
