Hello and welcome back, my Hive black and white people. Today, I will share with you some photos from the Vietnamese woodworking sesh. I find this art form outstanding and truly pristine in all its views.

Vietnamese woodworking has a quiet rhythm that pulls you in right away. Even without colour, the craft speaks for itself. Wood dust in the air, steady hands carving, small tools tapping in a calm pattern. It feels almost meditative when you watch it.

Mother of pearl inlay is the part that always fascinates me. Tiny pieces of shell shaped by hand and set into carved wood with so much care that the surface looks completely seamless. In real life, the shells glow with soft colours, but in black and white they become something different. The contrast turns sharper. The textures stand out. The whole technique feels even more timeless.

Black and white photos reveal details you normally miss. The grain of the wood. The thin lines of each carving. The patience behind every tiny adjustment. It is one of those crafts that does not need colour to impress. The elegance is already there, hidden in the shapes, the surfaces, and the dedication of the people who create them.

Stay blessed
