wow man, this is an exceptional experience, somehow dangerous but at the same way amazing with all these landscapes and seascapes around. Great to see that you memorized your trip with the film camera. these images just get another different emotional value.
in 2015 i attended a small team traveled to Ethiopia as behind the scenes stills photographer. The goal of the trip was to finish a documentary movie about Ethiopian jews who went in small groups around 1000 km of the African steppe and desert from their villages to Sudan and after this to Israel. It was another movie of my friend Director and operator Meni Elias, who already went this long way by feet and filmed all the experience. Anyways - I took my Hasselblad 500cm with me and photographed the colorful area on black and white films :-) Some frames you can find in my 2 days old post here.
