Two little boys wander among the ship's wreckage at the Pusong Fish Landing Base area of Lhokseumawe, Aceh. They're on a mission, I'm not sure what it is, but they're hunting for something among the rubble on the beach.
The wrecked skeletons of boats left lying there, some of which have been auctioned off, pick up the pieces that can be used to build a new boat. Two men are repairing the boat's reusable parts.
A man is loading the wooden beams of a wrecked boat onto a motorcycle rickshaw.
There are no other types of boats there; almost every day, hundreds of fishing boats anchor quietly side by side. The area is only for anchoring fishing boats, they will go out to sea after sunset and return before dawn, which makes the harbor crowded. In addition, there are also ships that sail for up to 7 days at sea.
A quiet place from the hustle and bustle of loading and unloading during the day, although several people were still spotted with their respective occupations in the port area.
The man was driving a motorbike rickshaw with a load of fuel in jerrycans under the supervision of a middle-aged man standing akimbo.
A fisherman with a fishing net placed in the middle of a rowboat was heading back to the parking lot, such activity can be observed erratically.
The two boys had returned with a plastic bag of cargo carried by both of them. I asked what was in it. But they ignored me and climbed straight back onto the concrete slab of the harbor. I returned as well, trailing after them.
A tavern provides various kinds of drinks and snacks, and you can quench your tiredness and thirst there, it's located right on the edge of the harbor, and you can also park and leave your vehicle with the tavern owner.
