Phillip Island, captured in Infrared.
Here’s another image from one of my most loved areas. I purchased an older converted Nikon D80 throughout lockdown to experiment with. I love the way light hits completely different in Infrared. I caught this image after a super wild day of weather. I was lucky enough to be down here as the sun broke through some clouds exposing the thick misty atmosphere.
Also there’s a guy standing on the ridge up in the right corner for scale here.
Enjoy
Epic! What type of conversion is the d80? And do you use additional filters to cut IR?
