This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.
Hello everyone in the community. I hope all of you are having a great time. Its another series of black and white portraiture for today's post.
This photo was taken seven years ago, on the year 2017. While drinking coffee with my fellow photographer friend on that day, he was replying a comment on his Facebook, suddenly one of her friend, Ann, which was a part time model asked if he is available for a portrait shoot. He agreed and brought me together for the photo session after he asked permission from his model friend.
Luckily I brought my camera but only the kit lens. I have this habit to always bring my camera to where ever I go. Only that I only brings it with the kit lens, which was during this time was the Canon EF 18mm - 200mm F3.5 - F5.6. Still a very good lens for me during this time.
We did the portrait shoot on the street nearby the place that we had a drink. The weather was good and no strong wind. The only problem on that time was it was nearly late evening. After my friend finished his session with Ann, its my turn. I had only a little bit of time for the shoot. So I took some of her portrait at one of the shop sidewalk.
Below are some of her best shoot that I think was the best during that time. I was still at the early stage of learning photography during this time. But now I am amazed with some of the photo that I took.
EXIF - 1/100 sec | f/3.5 ISO-250| 18mm | 0 step exposure bias
A wide angle shoot of a close up portrait was one of my favorite during my early days :D
EXIF - 1/200 sec | f/4.5 ISO-250| 40mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/200 sec | f/4.5 ISO-250| 24mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/250 sec | f/5.66 ISO-250| 190mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/200 sec | f/5.66 ISO-250| 190mm | 0 step exposure bias
EXIF - 1/100 sec | f/5.66 ISO-250| 190mm | 0 step exposure bias
Here we can see the different look between focal length. 18mm, 24mm, 40mm and 190mm. I actually love the zoom lens. I can get various look on a composition by just changing the focal length. The only problem was the aperture was not wide enough to get a creamy bokeh background. But overall I still love the outcome from the kit lens that I have.
And that is all from me today. I hope that I can see you guys again on the next post with another amazing portraiture. Have a great day and do always stay safe. Cheers!
