This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.
I love the rain.
Maybe because I was born on a rainy autumn day.
I love the noise on the windows and on the road, and how this noise muffles and silences the constant din of the passing cars that multiply on rainy days and should instead be even more annoying.
The rain has a cathartic effect on me. It cleanses my mind from thoughts, my soul from troubles.
And I love what the rain left behind, diamonds and pearls as a gift, adorning nature as if it were the most beautiful of women.
I am not a professional photographer.
Shoot with Oppo Reno Z4 plus Photoshop Express Android version (below the color version).
Thank you for your time.

I love the texture in both of these photos. Really interesting the different impact the colour vs b/w has.
The flower in the second image has this slick, sort-of-slimy, texture to it in b/w. Like I could suck it up through a straw. It makes me uncomfortable in a good way.
Thanks for sharing!
I am glad you liked ☺️ It is difficult for me to publish here. I love photography but I am amateur and here it is full of professionals. I understand what you are saying about the second picture. I am not a photographer, but when I saw it I thought exactly the same. I do not know why the camera gave this 'slimy plastic' effect, because in reality it is a normal true wet flower. I think it is because of the red colour. Anytime I take a picture of red flowers, the picture appears unreal or overexposed.
Tons of great work on this site, for sure, but don't let that discourage you! You've got some great images.
What kind of camera are you using? I've often found, shooting Sony, that the reds are a bit wonky. You can try pushing a bit more blue/green into the red via lightroom et. al., but I dig the effect here anyways.
These are made with my mobile phone, a Oppo Reno Z4. I also have a Reflex Nikon D5500 but I do not use it so much, and if I do, I use fully automated mode because I know nothing about photography. Every thing you see, it is just me and my imagination when I push the button. And believe me, I am a mess 😅
Oh, we're all a mess. That's part of the fun of creation.
The reds might have something to do with the phone's sensor. I take it you're shooting in .jpg? You could have more control over your images if you shot in RAW- but just go with what feels right to you. One isn't really "better" than the other these days.
Either way, you've got a good eye, which is more than most can say. If you're looking to learn more about the fundamentals of photography, I wrote a half-decent tutorial when this platform was still STEEM. I broke it up into the three main parts of exposure: aperture, shutter speed, and film/sensor sensitivity.
That said, there are plenty of tutorials out there that can teach you about the exposure triangle, but that knowledge isn't required to take good photos (as you well know.)
Nice to meet you!

Thank you, I will go to read. One of my objective for next year is to try to improve my photography skills, not for becoming a professional but because it is a passion. Nice to meet you for me too 🤗

Remarkable! I love rain drops photos, and these are great!
Thank you dear! I am trying to improve my close up abilities. But I think I am still far from what I want to represent or at least is in my mind.
Exceptionally beautiful shots. Love it 😍
Thank you ☺️
Molto belli questi scatti e mi piacciono entrambe le versione bn e con colori
