Hail to the Hive!
We have been living aboard our little boat for about 9 weeks now and it is proving to ba a real adventure full of challenges but rewarding at the same time.
There's a lot of history around the canal network, the very canal itself and the locks we use are the embodiment of the industrial past that created them.
As we were going up the Hatto flight of locks I noticed they had incorporated an old British Waterways work boat as a bit of a nostalgic piece at the side of the tow path.
I thought it looked pretty awesome and had to take a few snaps after we had completed the lock flight.
So we moored up and I took a stroll back down the flight to capture a few shots of this old boat, sadly no longer afloat.
The old girl still has a certain air about her and gives off a powerful feeling of strength.
And the pefect old model for a #monomad shoot!
