Walking through the old town usually means pushing through crowds of people, mostly tourists. However, sometimes you can avoid them and wander alone through the old, cobbled, narrow streets. A way to avoid this is to leave the main routes and wander the outskirts of such an old town. Below are photos from a walk through Città Alta in Bergamo, Italy.

Spacer przez stare miasto zazwyczaj oznacza przeciskanie się przez tłumy spacerujących ludzi, głównie turystów. Czasem można jednak ich ominąć i przejść się samotnie starymi brukowanymi i ciasnymi uliczkami. Sposobem na to jest zejście z głównych szlaków i przejście się obrzeżami takiego starego miasta. Poniżej zdjęcia ze spaceru po Città Alta w Bergamo we Włoszech.
This part of the city is located on a hill, so you often had to walk up a bit. Some of these narrow streets were surrounded by very old walls, creating an atmosphere of returning to the past.
Ta część miasta położona jest na wzgórzu, dlatego często trzeba było podejść trochę do góry. Część tych wąskich uliczek otaczały bardzo stare mury tworząc klimat powrotu do przeszłości.
The only photo in this set with people in it. I took it on Via Bartolomeo Colleoni, the main street connecting Piazza Vecchia with Piazza Lorenzo Mascheroni and Piazza della Cittadella. There were many people walking along the entire length of the street, so it was impossible to take photos without them.
Jedyne zdjęcie w tym zestawie z ludźmi. Wykonałem je na ulicy Via Bartolomeo Colleoni, czyli głównej łączącej plac Piazza Vecchia z Piazza Lorenzo Mascheroni oraz Piazza della Cittadella. Przez całą jej długość było sporo spacerujących ludzi, dlatego niemożliwe było wykonane zdjęcia bez nich.
