Title: Birds - Jackdaws
The jackdaw is one of the smallest birds in the crow family, and in winter it often searches gardens by digging for vegetable seeds. In the winter, I came across a couple of jackdaws watching the garden from a tree. They appeared on the same tree for a few days and just watched around for any sign of food.
Shhh, don't look around! Someone is looking at us.
Come over here. I have to tell you something.
I saw him. He's pointing something at us. I'll turn around and jump over to you.
He is getting closer and closer.
Jump!
Listen now. We're screwed. We have to come back tomorrow. He'll stay here for a while. It was the same last time. We have to get here early tomorrow if you want to search the garden.
I'll go to the west, you go to the east. And we'll meet south in the woods.
