Well, winter is finally in Havana. It's been cold enough today that I've put on two coats at home... here we have a microclimate.
Of course some people are hotter. 👇
This afternoon when I went to the bank there was the usual ‘apotheosis line’ and I didn't worry about it: I had my camera with me, good stuff for entertainment, ready for the #Monomad Challenge.
Almost everyone is wearing winter coats today in Havana.
This is the flea market under the elevated bridge at 100th and Boyeros Avenues.
And this is a self-portrait. Amanda Nike o Bike 🤣 (pensé en @mdrguez y @eddyss cuando hice esta foto) - Jokes that only we can understand.
The fried and greasy stuff trolley... yuck... I never eat that. I generally find it hard to eat in the street. And what do you think was spewing out of that loudspeaker? Classical music? No... don't be naive.
Today I was shooting with a 14-42 lens. I didn't feel in the mood to engage in conversation with strangers, although I thought many times that among the few photos I took I was missing a full-fledged portrait. It is something that remains to be done. It seems I need to get out of the house more.
The photos are no big deal, I know. This sleeping dog was probably cold, poor thing. There is so much noise in that place, but there are creatures who manage to suppress it and surrender to the realm of dreams.
State workers were painting the bridge.
Nah, I wasn't so short of words. I have to keep practising. 😁

I reread the book, not many months ago, that's why I have so close the image of the boatman. The rereading was shattering, I truly have no idea how to write 😔 and it doesn't matter 🤣, the boatman told me.

I plan to cycle to a garden tomorrow. They say it's going to be colder.
All the snow has been missing us, no complaints.Yesterday was 6° F (-14° C). But today is more pleasant just below freezing.

Oh, it's cold there. With the temperature we have now in Havana you'd be happy on the beach, and even warm. Hahaha... yes, we just keep moving forward. And we take care of our wellbeing and health.

@nanixxx, finally a decent winter, today it seemed like it was all closing down, I took some pictures because it caught my eye, and I think tomorrow the temperatures will drop more...

The little dog squeezed my heart, I know they are animals, but it hurts to see them living in those conditions.
I zoomed in on the photo of the glasses, so much so that I saw you there, almost half your body inside the glass of the glasses...hahahaha...very interesting....

I did go cycling. I loved it in the cold, and since I'm doing the other exercises, I'm faster. I feel more fit.
