_{And suddenly the Hotel looked like an open book.}

If you take a discrete street off Park, I mean, 1st in Miramar and turn left and then a couple of times more, you will find yourself in a quiet traverse (by bike, of course, you can't miss it) with the Bertram Hotel.... Oh I don't know, I should write that on the right hand side, but I don't have the GPS here in my room and I confess that I got a bit lost with the indications in the book.

This is part of the chapter... which one, tell me? From which book?

...

–Can you smell the sesame cake?
–In which of these rooms will the meeting be held?
–I wish I knew.

–Wait, I'm dizzy, Miss Marple.

–Oh, dear... What have you been drinking?

–It's all right, I'm fine, the woman replied and seemed relieved if you didn't look closely at her eyes, the hard evidence of a roaring hangover. –I'd better not tell you what I've had to drink, she said in a whisper.

I don't think she's been drinking chispa e' tren... they don't do that in Cuba anymore, do they?

And while I... who lately have been oblivious to everything and rambling, as always, Miss Marple and her companion entered this five-star hotel and I wondered if that drink (also known as mofuco, warfarina, champán de hamaca, espérame en el suelo, bájate el blúmer) is still made in the ‘slums’ neighbourhoods of Havana...

Imagine that pale, London lady next to a handsome, brown-skinned domino player who says to her: ‘Madrina, dese un planazo, trancazo o cañangazo’... 🤣 Surely the novel finish when the crime was finally solved but too with another... happy ending.

Ok, enough! 😁

We are not in London, nor in a book, nor in a Havana slum... but (there's always a but...) perhaps there are some Agathas in the guest books of the Great Muthu, there must be. This can be real as I'm submitting these photos to the #Monomad Challenge.
