Greetings, dear friends of #blackandwhite.

Yesterday I committed a minor medical indiscretion. Still recovering from the chikungunya virus and experiencing some discomfort, I ventured out for a brief walk near my sister's house, not straying too far, just in case. At one point, my joints began to ache and I had to return, but at least I was satisfied with the images I captured.

In the end, when I got home, my feet were quite swollen and sore, but I was happy to have breathed a little street air. For a few more days, I'll have to rest until I'm completely ready to go out and take photos again.

Saludos, amigos queridos de #blackandwhite.

Ayer cometí una pequeña irresponsabilidad médica 😅. Todavía convaleciente del virus del chikungunya y con algún que otro dolor, me aventuré a dar un breve recorrido cerca de la casa de mi hermana, sin alejarme demasiado, por si acaso. Hubo un momento en que las articulaciones comenzaron a doler y tuve que regresar, pero al menos me quedé con la satisfacción de traer conmigo algunas imágenes.

A veces pasan cosas imprevistas que salen mejor que si las hubiéramos planificado.
El Malecón habanero suele estar lleno de personas durante todo el año, pero en esta época quienes van parecen tener una actitud más reflexiva, más hacia adentro.
Ayer también fue que entendí el significado de estos carteles que están por toda la ciudad. Es algo así como una protesta política contra el sistema.

Al final, cuando llegué a la casa, tenía los pies bastante inflamados y doloridos, pero feliz de haber respirado un poco de calle. Por algunos días más tendré que hacer reposo hasta estar completamente listo para volver a salir a hacer fotos.
Por lo pronto me despido, agradeciéndoles como siempre su amabilidad y su tiempo. Feliz fin de año y un próspero Año Nuevo.
