Today, I want to introduce you to someone most people might avoid just because of his appearance. His name is Willie. He was once part of a gang that operated in the La Silsa neighborhood. Even though he was never truly a bad person, he always had a taste for easy money.
Hoy les quiero presentar a una persona a la cual cualquiera podría huirle por el aspecto que tiene. Su nombre es Willie. Él fue parte de una banda de delincuentes que estuvo operando un tiempo en el barrio de La Silsa. A pesar de que nunca fue una mala persona, siempre le gustó el dinero fácil.
But life has a way of turning things around. Willie ended up becoming addicted to the same substance he sold to many others for so long. Today, that addiction, combined with alcoholism and the loss of his mother, has left his mind in a fragile state.
Pero debido a las vueltas que da la vida, él mismo terminó consumiendo ese químico que les vendió a muchos durante mucho tiempo. Hoy en día, gracias a esa adicción, sumado al alcohol y a la pérdida de su madre, ya su cerebro no trabaja bien.
Despite having a home to live in (albeit an empty one), Willie is practically living on the streets.
Y teniendo un hogar donde vivir (aunque está vacío), prácticamente está en situación de calle.

STOPHopefully Willie will always be healthy and get a decent job. I guess I'm not much different from him, living alone and surviving is important. Thankfully I'm not addicted to alcohol.
