A man in a coffee shop _ Monomad daily chalenge

in Black And White3 months ago

Hello everyone, my friends in the black and white community. I'm Menti, and I'm back with another fantastic photograph and blog post.

This photo was taken a few days ago when I stumbled upon a charming cafe and spotted an intriguing face. I asked if I could take a few pictures, and they happily agreed.

I captured the moment from behind a glass reflection. My model was a middle-aged man wearing a fedora, lost in thought as he sipped his coffee and gazed across the street. Directly opposite the cafe, he owned a traditional teahouse, and his eyes were fixed on his business, monitoring the comings and goings of customers.

I took several captivating portraits and enhanced them using a bit of dust and grain in Lightroom to create a more evocative atmosphere. The result was truly stunning, and I captured a few additional shots from similar angles to share with you.

Black and white photography was the perfect choice here, allowing us to delve deeper into my model's emotions. His name was Behruz, a man of about 42 years old.

There's something truly special about capturing spontaneous street portraits. They evoke such a wide range of emotions. I'm passionate about photography, though I've taken breaks from it many times. Whenever I'm feeling down, I turn to photography and rediscover my sense of purpose. It's a craft that heals me. I'll continue to capture images and tell stories, because it's what I was born to do.

I've edited three of the photos I took using a grayscale black and white theme, and for a fun twist, I've given the last photo in this post a vibrant green tone. It's a captivating black and white image.

Finally, I stepped inside and captured a shot without the glass reflections. Thank you for joining me until the end of this post.
I'm Menti, your friend. I'm so glad to be here with you all. Have a wonderful day.
