A few weeks ago, I started working with a modeling agency that focuses on training, preparing, and promoting models in this city. I attended one of their classes to take photos, and today I want to share some of the shots I took during one of those sessions.
Desde hace unas semana empecé a trabajar con una agencia de modelaje que se encarga de enseñar, preparar y impulsar modelos en esta ciudad, asistí a una de las clases a tomar fotos y hoy les quiero mostrar unas fotos que tomé durante una de esas clases.
All of these photos were captured during an exercise where everyone was practicing their modeling skills. What I love most about them is that they're 100% spontaneous. I was simply documenting the moment while they did their thing.
Todas estas fotos las tomé en un momento donde todos estaban haciendo un ejercicio de modelaje y lo que mas me gustó es que son 100% espontaneas, yo solo estaba documentando el momento mientras ellos hacían lo suyo.
The exercise involved walking until a beep sounded, and then they had to freeze in place, find a partner, and create a 'mirror' with each other. They would take turns striking a pose, and the other person had to copy it. This helped the models step outside of their comfort zones and learn new poses at the same time!
El ejercicio consistía en caminar hasta que sonara un pitido y entonces debian quedarse quietos, encontrar una pareja y hacer un "espejo" entre ellos, por turnos cada persona debia hacer una pose y la persona enfrente la debía copiar, de esa manera los chicos salian de su zona de confort y al mismo tiempo aprendían nuevas poses!
While all this was happening, I took the opportunity to capture some spontaneous portraits.
Mientras todo esto ocurria yo aprovechaba la oportunidad para hacer retratos espontaneos!
It was a really cool experience where we all learned a lot. I'll be sharing more photos that I've taken with this modeling agency soon!
