I try to make long exposures whenever I have the time and generally I like night photography a lot...
I have two tripods, one big, heavy for the big camera and one lightweight that actually fits in my pockets, it is ok for everything under 1.5 kg, let's say when there isn't a strong wind.
I've got PIXI Smart with the smartphone handler so I can shoot time-lapses while I take photos with the other camera ;) It wasn't expensive at all, something like EUR 30 as far as I remember.
There's always something special about long exposures.
I need to start dipping my toes on it, but need a proper tripod first.
