Hello Hivers from this wonderful community of black and white photography lovers. During my recent family visit to the Quinta de Los Molinos in Havana, I noticed two objects that caught my attention and I wanted to share them with you. One of these objects is a rustic birdhouse made from recycled objects so that some species can nest comfortably. These little houses are mainly occupied by sparrows, which are quite common birds in the city. In addition, I was very struck by a small model of a rather striking Japanese building, although sadly somewhat abandoned. Despite this, I quite liked the deterioration of the model for a black and white photograph.
Hola Hivers de esta maravillosa comunidad de amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro. Durante mi reciente visita familiar a la Quinta de Los Molinos en La Habana observé dos objetos que me llamaron bastante la atención y quise compartirlos con ustedes. Uno de estos objetos es una casa para aves elaborada de forma rústica con objetos reciclados para que algunas especies puedan anidar con comodidad. Estas casitas son principalmente ocupadas por gorriones que son aves bastante frecuentes en la ciudad. Además, me llamó mucho la atención una pequeña maqueta de una construcción japonesa bastante llamativa, aunque algo abandonada lamentablemente. A pesar de esto, el deterioro de la maqueta me gustó bastante para una fotografía en blanco y negro.
The images were taken with my Canon Eos Rebel T5 camera and a Canon 50 mm F: 1.8 lens. The images were processed with Capture One Pro and Photoshop programs.
