Hi Hive Lovers
It's always great fun to explore things in #blackandwhite. It's not just limited to photographic objects; you can even see your own life from a black-and-white perspective.
Today I found two types of dead insects, namely wasps and katydids. At first, I thought that there was nothing interesting about an animal that had died.
But the pitch black color of these two insect carcasses really caught my attention, especially when both of them were lying on the white floor.
The black animal carcasses and the white floor became a stark contrast!
I'm glad to share some of their photos with you all, and this is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.
I am very grateful because the shapes of these two dead insects were still intact when I found them, which means they are still worthy of being called intact objects to be explored, and my only option is to explore the black animals on the white floor in the form of a #blackandwhite photo.
Their black bodies, plus their small size and lying on the floor, really made it difficult for me to photograph them.
I also had to use the macro mode on my cell phone camera to get some of their pictures. So many pictures of them are not perfect, and I actually had to redo them a few times. It's a good thing they didn't move; that's obvious because they really were dead. I would never go near these two bugs if they were alive, for obvious reasons. You absolutely know what the reason is.
Finally, I placed them on white paper, and the background wall of the room is also white, but it's not completely white because there are some wall accessories hanging there.
I was very curious about the results of exploring a solid black object on a white background, and this is the result:
Maybe you would never know that they had died if I did not mention it here. They really have died, but they live on in black and white to always exist.
Yay! 🤗
