The International Doll House #Monomad Challenge

in Black And White4 years ago (edited)

I have a friend who hates dolls, she said whenever she sees one, her imagination becomes wild, they always turn into horror and she feels like the doll would come out alive, run after her and kill her like Chuckie. So, one time, when it was her birthday, I showed her some photos of the doll collection which I visited in the year 2017 in Surigao - The International Doll House.

I am not sure if this tourist destination is still present today but let me share with you some of the dolls that I was able to capture when we went there.

The International Doll House houses hundreds if not thousand of dolls from all over the world. The owner travels a lot and her love for dolls had made her to collect many different types of these dolls too. She'd be coming home with a few pieces and without her knowing, she had already accumulated a wide range.

She had also these dolls inside a glass compartment in an air-conditioned room. According to her, this is necessary else, the humidity will ruin the dolls. Some of these dolls are also collector's items. The most expensive according to the tour guide was one of the Matryosh Ka Doll.
