Some more photos of this incredible trip to Chilean Patagonia. As I said in previous posts, we were making the documentary for Canal Off, on Brazilian television, called "In search of the storm". The film narrates the crossings of Felipe Buff and Fabio Ramo, two instructors from NOLS, an outdor leadership school, set out in search of crossing the Patagonia of Kayak. As the region is surrounded by a lot of wind at certain times of the year, they enjoy kayaking in the waves formed by the wind or whirlpool. It is known a phenomenon called "Willy Wall", the name of the wind that comes under water and swirls with the water. This phenomenon was one of the goals to register, but unfortunately we didn't find it.
We went to Lake General Gran Carrera, where we were able to make beautiful shots on a beautiful sunny day. We were accompanying in a support boat while the pair surfed and paddled in the lake's ripples.
Some memories of 2016, on my first professional trip as a camera assistant and second camera operator.
I love these!
