I'm almost sure that I can predict the fog, it happens to me that when I wake up, still in bed, I usually think: ‘It's all foggy out there’... And believe me, it's almost always like that when this happens to me...

Casi estoy seguro de que puedo predecir la niebla, me sucede que al despertar, estando aún en mi cama, suelo pensar: "Allá afuera esta todo repleto de niebla"... Y créanme, casi siempre es así cuando esto me pasa...

Then, as soon as I stand up, I start doing things faster than usual. I wash my face, feed my cats and dogs, make coffee and leave a message for my wife, which is usually something like: ‘Good morning, I went out to take pictures, we have fog today’... My wife already knows what happens to me when the mornings are foggy, so this is nothing new for her...

Entonces, apenas al ponerme de pie, comienzo a hacer las cosas más deprisa de lo habitual. Lavo mi rostro, doy de comer a mis gatos y mis perros, preparo café y dejo un mensaje a mi esposa el cual por lo generar suele ser algo como: "Buenos días, salí a hacer fotos, hoy tenemos niebla"... Ya mi esposa sabe lo que sucede conmigo cuando las mañanas están repletas de niebla, así que esto no es nada nuevo para ella...

Once outside, the streets never disappoint me and a maelstrom of images follow one after the other, giving me plenty of pictures and thoughts. The thick fog often serves to make me go a little more unnoticed, people are going about their routine, many of them are not even aware of the visual magic happening around them and how the fog transforms all perspectives and endows the streets of the town with a halo of exquisite drama and mystery...

Una vez fuera, las calles nunca me decepcionan y una vorágine de imágenes se suceden una tras otra, obsequiándome un montón de fotografías y pensamientos. La niebla espesa suele servirme para pasar un poco más desapercibido, las personas van de aquí para allá cumpliendo su rutina, muchos de ellos ni siquiera se percatan de la magia visual ocurriendo a su alrededor y de como la niebla transforma todas las perspectivas y dota las calles del pueblo de un halo de exquisito drama y misterio...

They are my same everyday streets, but always happening in a different way. Taking street photos endows us with a kind of additional power to detect the spaces happening in imaginary rectangles and ready to be transformed into a still image that speaks to everyone of these streets immersed in morning fogs... This is what it's like to do this...

Son mis mismas calles de a diario, pero siempre sucediendo de manera distinta. Hacer fotos callejeras nos dota de una especie de poder adicional para detectar los espacios ocurriendo en rectángulos imaginarios y listos para ser transformado en una imagen fija que hable a todos de estas mañanas de calles inmersas en nieblas mañaneras... Así es hacer esto...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
