Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!... The mid-year months have been very fruitful from a photography point of view, so my archives are overflowing with photos waiting to be processed by me and shared here on #Hive with you... Although nature has taken a good portion of my most recent photographic work, it's my town's streets wich continue to be the subject of the bulk of my photographic activity... So, I invite you to take a look at this bunch of black and white street photographs which I have selected today to give you a new glimpse of the daily life around me...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Estos meses de mitad de año han sido muy fructíferos desde en cuanto a fotografía se refiere, así que mis archivos están rebosantes de fotos a la espera de ser procesadas por mi y compartidas aquí en #Hive con ustedes. Si bien la naturaleza se ha llevado una buena porción de mis más recientes trabajos fotográficos, son las calles de mi pueblo las que siguen siendo objeto del grueso del mi actividad fotográfica... Así que los invito a mirar este puñado de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro las cuales he seleccionado hoy para regalar a ustedes un nuevo atisbo de la cotidianidad que me rodea...

These are still my usual streets and as unexpected and diverse as they have been for as long as I can remember... A portrait, a sad scene, a detail forgotten in time, the look in a dog's eye... Everything here has the unmistakable character of a small town where smiles often conceal the sadness and the noise wants to make us forget the ever-present shortages... And I, immersed in this curious obsession bordering on the bohemian and bordering on madness, wander the streets aimlessly while some people shout at me to take a photo, others avoid me trying to avoid it and I myself "steal" some shot without them noticing... It's a small and fleeting adventure, daily and repeated, but never the same one day versus the previous one... So it seems it had to be after all...

Siguen siendo mis calles de siempre y siguen siendo tan inesperadas y diversas como lo han sido desde que tengo uso de razón... Un retrato, una escena triste, un detalle olvidado en el tiempo, la mirada de un perro... Todo aquí tiene el inconfundible carácter de un pueblo pequeño en donde con frecuencia las sonrisas disimulan la tristeza y el ruido quier hacer olvidar las carencias siempre presentes... Y yo, inmerso en esta curiosa obsesión rayana en lo bohemio y atentando en la locura, deambulo las calles sin rumbo fijo mientras algunos me gritan que les haga una foto, otros me evaden queriendo evitarlo y a otros yo mismo "se las robo" sin que se percaten... Es una aventura pequeña y fugaz, cotidiana y repetida, pero nunca igual un día versus el anterior... Así parece que tenía que ser después de todo...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
