STREET PHOTOGRAPHY SELECTION - MONOMAD || ENG-ESP || (8 Pics)

Hello #Hive friends... This is a new edition of my black and white street photography series to share as an entry to today's #monomad challenge.

"Silverio going out early"/"Silverio saliendo temprano a la calle"

C02.jpg
"Monday in town waking up"/"Lunes de pueblo despertando"

These are my everyday streets but... I don't know, maybe it's just my mood today, but looking at these photos it occurs to me that the town is more deteriorated than ever before. It's as if the crisis has penetrated deep into every house, every street, every inhabitant... I don't think I'm wrong, it's as if something here is about to get worse.

C03.jpg
"People trying to be normal"/"Gente intentando ser normal"

C04.jpg
"Looking worse than ever"/"Luciendo pero que siempre"

I have been labelling myself for many years as a self-confessed nihilist. At the beginning of my "personal revolution" I said it as a joke, but over the years I have begun to "be right" about this. And the fact is that living since the beginning of the century facing a constant involution of society, ends up turning one into someone with no expectations of seeing any small improvement, much less a return to past times of prosperity.

C05.jpg
"Street with star without lights"/"Calle con estrella sin luces"

C06.jpg
"At least someone almost smiles"/"Cuando menos alguien casi sonríe"

I'm not one to sit around and bemoan all this that goes on, but it is undeniable that decadence affects anyone who sees it face to face on a daily basis. So that (like today for example) is what I occasionally reflect on when I'm editing my photographs...

C07.jpg
"Sunday morning"/"Domingo en la mañana"

C08.jpg
"Last street south"/"Ultima calle al sur"

Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!

¡Muchas gracias por pasar y apreciar!

Sort:

That shot with the kid and the kittens really invites me to imagine the entire story behind it, looks like it could be out of national geographic type magazines.

Wow!... Thank you for your motivating comment!!! :)... I loved taking that photo and I loved how it turned out!!!... Have a happy weekend friend @corvidae!

Feliz fin de semana igual para ti!

Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!

When I look at photos I also often look at the details that are not visible at the moment. Because life around us attracts our attention and makes us less vigilant about hidden things. My detail on one of your photos was "the 4x4 is missing a wheel" . Thank you for your always more beautiful photos friend @jlinaresp

Very "good eye" friend @cyboule!!! :))... Actually, that vehicle has been abandoned there for about a decade when its owner died (that old dog which appears in that photo is always there and belonged to the owner). .. It's a fascinating thing... I've seen that dog every time I pass by that street... Thank you very much for stopping by and appreciating!... Happy weekend!

With pleasure

This are beautiful photos, the little boy who smiled a little made every photo here amazing.

It was a lovely photo to take!...Thank you so much for stopping by and appreciating!

No expectations, man I feel that. Actually titled my last post that :) Have trouble shaking the feeling that things are not good and not likely to get better soon myself.

Lovely set of shots.

Thank you for your comment and for your appreciation friend @coloneljethro!!!
