Hello #Hive friends... It's always a pleasure to share with you my experiences lived in the streets of my town, every day my love for street photography merges more and more with my love for writing about what I think and do while I'm in the streets... So this is my entry to today's #monomad challenge...
"Mother"... Sometimes the streets simply slap us in the face and confront us directly with truly overwhelming situations... This is the case of this little stray dog with her two little puppies... She was on the street, standing at the door of a house, I guess she was waiting for someone there to give her something to eat so that she could continue to survive... There is something in this kind of scenes that can break our soul... Sadly, it is something that happens all too often here.
"Mother"...
"Jesús and Pedro"... Jesús returns on his bicycle, coming from gathering some fodder to feed his two old rabbits (which he was never able to slaughter for food after raising them since they were small)... On the way back, he slows down and chats a bit with Pedro who is walking down the street (he seems to do that all day long "walking and walking")... And then I'm there and take a picture without telling them!
"Routine"... Fog covers the streets of the village in the early hours of the morning.... Meanwhile, people connect small electric centrifugal pumps to the old drinking water pipes... They do this to extract the little water that is still coming through the rusty pipes, which are over 60 years old and have never been maintained... Meanwhile, a dog seems to be watching over everyone in his morning routine!...
"Rutina"...
"Man waiting for nothing"... I took this photo out of pure instinct... I found it charming to see this man sitting there very early in the morning, just as the sun was breaking over the horizon... He was in the north-west corner of the central square, the village was in absolute silence, yet he was just sitting there doing nothing...
"Hombre esperando nada"...
"Another story about water"... And those who cannot afford to buy a small electric pump, then go with barrels, pots, buckets or any other container and fetch water from some of the few public water pumps that still work... I can take 1000 pictures of people colleting water in a week if I put my mind to it!....
"Nobody has come to buy".... Jesús (on the right side and wearing a shirt) has a small grocery store, but here the local economy is quite depressed and so it is common to see Jesús sitting in the street chatting with any neighbour... If someone asks him how he is doing, he usually answers "Nobody has come to buy"...
"Standing in line"... A woman is standing in line at 6:30 AM, she is there with two refillable cylinders for domestic gas... She has arrived there very early, in a couple of hours there will be hundreds of people there waiting for a truck that will take the cylinders and refill them in exchange for some money... Here the trade of domestic gas has been forbidden to private companies, for many years only government entities have been supplying it... And as is usually the case with everything our government takes for itself, nothing ever works properly!...
"Getting the car ready"... This image corresponds to a jocular moment... I'm driving down a street and it's very foggy, then I see this man coming out of his little house with his wheelbarrow and some work tools in it... I said to him: "Good morning, how are you? And he answered: "Here, getting the car ready to drive to my office"... 😂😂😂

Tadaaa! It's always a pleasure to go through your stolen stories from the street, you've always attached a meaningful reality with your pictures, just like the Mother Dog and her puppies, that's to show the vital importance of a mother to her children.
Jesús and Pedro look good in this picture, even though they are not aware you're taking a picture of them, I'm sure they'll love it if they see it... hehehe, and I could see that Jesús love his rabbits so much.
water is life, we cannot survive without water, and that's why one has to look for all possible means to get water, even if they'll have to go miles to search for water, but it's always good if there's enough of water around us, it will make everything to be easier because almost everything we do needs water.
The last picture got me laughing 😂, the man's statement made me laugh, that means the man places value on his wheelbarrow because he always makes use of it to assemble his work tools.. hehehe
Thank you very much for reading each story and for appreciating each photo... You make my day, it is very valuable to me... These are my streets, but I am also a "bit of me" portrayed in them... Hugs from Montalbán to you and everyone close to you @maryjacy friend!!!

Thanks to you for your visit and appreciation @belug friend!!!
The first photograph, "Mother", reminded me of the image of what is known as the myth of Romulus and Remus.
Oh yes!... Actually there is a lot of similarity in the position of the puppies!!! :)) Regards @wilfredocav friend!
