Hello monochrome #Hive friends, welcome to a new edition of my black and white street photography series. Today I selected some photos from my recent archives, sat in front of my PC and while editing them it was like walking the streets of the village again. That's something very interesting about self-made street photographs when you look at them, they tend to make you feel like you are immersed in a palpable ‘déjà vu’ and very close to reality. Not for nothing is it ( seems to me) the most psychological type of photography we can practice... Come with me mow and look at my today's photos please... ;)

Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive, bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mis series de fotografías callejeras en blanco y negro. Hoy seleccioné algunas fotos de mis archivos recientes, me senté en frente de mi PC y mientras las editaba fue como recorrer las calles del pueblo nuevamente. Eso es algo muy interesante de las fotografías callejeras hechas por uno mismo cuando se les observa, tienden a hacernos sentir como inmersos en un "déjà vu" palpable y muy cercano a la realidad. No en balde se trata (me parece a mi) del tipo de fotografía más psicológico que podemos practicar... Vengan conmigo entonces a mirar mis fotos de hoy, por favor... ;)

A few days ago I went to visit an old friend whose house had recently been broken into by a young man under the influence of narcotics and almost managed to stab his mother with the aim of robbing her (yes, these things can happen here more often than desired), fortunately my friend's mother was unharmed and the aggressor was arrested by the same neighbours and then handed over to the authorities.... The thing is that, after chatting for a while with my friend, he said something like: "Jesus, the town is looking uglier and uglier, the streets are dirty, the houses are ruined, many people behave incorrectly, it seems that 'IT‘ is floating over the streets and is destroying them’’ .... Without looking at my friend, I asked him: "What do you call 'IT'?... And then he answered me: "I don't know, but I'm sure it's something that wasn't here a little more than a couple of decades ago when everything was different and life was good"... I didn't know what to answer, so we continued a trivial conversation and didn't delve any further into the matter... But my photos today, for obvious reasons, reminded me of that conversation with my friend...

Días atrás fui a visitar a un viejo conocido en cuya casa recientemente había penetrado un joven bajo el efecto de narcóticos y casi logró apuñalar a su madre con el objetivo de robarla (sí, esas cosas pueden suceder aquí con más frecuencia de lo deseado), afortunadamente la madre de mi amigo salió ilesa y el agresor fue detenido por los mismos vecinos y luego entregado a las autoridades... El caso es qué, después de charlar un rato con mi amigo, él me dijo algo así como: "Caray Jesús, el pueblo cada vez luce más feo, las calles están sucias, las casas deterioradas, muchas personas se comportan de manera incorrecta, parece que "ESO" flotase sobre las calles y las estuviese destruyendo".... Sin mirar a mi amigo le pregunté: "¿Que es lo que llamas "ESO"?... Y entonces el me contestó: "No lo sé, pero estoy seguro de que es algo que no estaba aquí hace poco más de un par de décadas cuando todo era distinto y la vida era buena"... Yo no supe que contestar, entonces continuamos una conversación trivial y no ahondamos más en el asunto... Pero mis fotos de hoy, por razones obvias, me recordaron aquella conversación con mi amigo...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
