On Water Photography Concept | Monomad Challenge

Hi, everyone in the Black and White community. How's your weekend? In my town now it is rainy season and it's making some schedule postponed. But, I hope in your town in a good season so it wouldn't make your schedule be postponed. Last month, I did photography with Miss Tourism. It has two concepts, the first is women in vintage, and another one is water photography. The idea behind the second concept is from the model because she sees a photo shoot from another model and wants to remake it for herself.

The hardest thing to do with this concept is location. And we can't use the pool from the hotel because we are worried if the flower makes trash, and I'm also worried if we disturb another customer at the hotel, so we try to search friend's house which has a pool. And we found one, but this pool has not been used for a long time, so we got work to clean up the pool before the photoshoot season began. So we took two days to clean up the pool. And here is the results:

Technically, the other most challenging thing is the limited access, and we had a hard time placing the lights because the pool is small. So when we take photos, we have to take turns. The other, because it was my first time taking photos on the water, the water level was too high, and the model had trouble sleeping on the water. We couldn't get water out because this pool doesn't have a drain. If we use the pump to drain the water, it will make time again. So let's move on, and the shooting continues.

For the model itself, the hardest for her is when she sleeps on the water because the water enters her ear, which makes the photographer's voice not heard here, so when we try to pose her, it wouldn't hear by her. Another thing is the water is cold, so we must fight with time to make her not get sick because she sleeps on water. So maybe on another chance, we will use the bathtub, because in the bathtub we can control the water level, water temperature and it more privately because we pay for one room just for our team.

Maybe next time, I will recreate this concept again, with a new model and new place. But, honestly, I am a little disappointed with the results because I ran out the time to take the image. If I don't get it wrong, remember, this photo shoot took 30 minutes for me because I worried that the model would get sick because of the photo shoot. So I can't explore more styles because of time. But I hope you like this because this is my first time doing a photo shoot on the water.
