The morning routine.
Greetings, Community.
A warm greeting and a cup of coffee to start the day, Sunday, December 14, during the Christmas season, with this monochrome photography initiative.
This is my entry for the #monomad contest by @monochromes & @brumest.
Today I share this photograph of a matchbox while I think about a million things and at the same time don't concentrate on any of them.
Waking up on a Sunday with an empty fridge but with a cigarette and coffee, this makes me think about how I see some things and how I waste opportunities by not having my priorities covered, something as basic as food.
I can't blame anyone but myself for this thought or my current state. Among my daily obligations, I get distracted by one thing after another that takes me away from my main goal: improving my life, both physically and mentally.
Mentally exhausted and physically tired, but from what? From overthinking? Possibly...
Working day after day, the weekend arrives, the day when we realize that the effort I am making is not enough and at the same time recognize that I am not trying hard enough.
This is a personal thought that I wanted to write down just to get rid of my negative thinking.
Here we are back with the photograph for the contest, the cigarette lighter that represents a harmful routine I have when I wake up, coffee and cigarettes. I think this has to stop, it's up to me to cleanse my body, soul, and mind.
Physical exercise, which is so necessary, and writing exercises, which free me from stress and the very laziness that leads me into decline. With this post, I declare my freedom, free from those ties that hold back my progress.
