It's been a while since I posted a black and white image of any kind and tonight this is a selection of recent lightpainting shots which look just as good in monochrome as they might have done in colour.
We struck lucky last weekend with an urban explore on the other side of a site we've shot many times before. Still can't work out why we never bothered with this place and then boom, we find this abandoned 60ft kiln. It's safe to say we are returning soon!
This is Salski Cymru New clad in leather posing with smoke pellets. I shot this hand held holding a flashlight to enable the camera to focus each time.
We discovered this 150 mtr long abandoned factory with this central steel structure which made a great frame:
And finally what started off as a plan to visit our local forest in the dark turned in to a visit to a local tunnel to avoid the rain. Out came the fisheye lens and the smoke pellets for added atmosphere:
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
