Where I come from, which is a small town surrounded by woods and lakes, we had blackberries growing like weeds around the forests edges fields, smaller country roads. A pile of very thorny mess that was impossible to go though.
But they did have those delicious fruits, which we would pick and eat directly from a bush.
Those blackberries had small, white flowers. Nothing like the ones here!
I was so amazed when I saw them for the first time I wasn't even sure if those are the same blackberries. The petals are much larger and have this lovely lilacs, pinkish colour.
And of course to make you use your imagination I turned them all into black and white muahaha :))
Some of them were in a bit more advanced stage already and I could see the hairy berries forming. I am sure I will miss on them and birds will eat it all.
And especially those Mullberries!The season is short and the flying pests just wait for them to be ready to eat.
At least some creature will enjoy them...

Those turned out really, really nice. You really used the natural lighting to your advantage and got some awesome shadows. Were there any berries ready for the picking?

No.. not yet. Way too early. Some did look very promising already though.
I am sure birds will take care of them as soon as they are ripe :p
Oh, look at that light on those berries! I love these shots and I love the berries as well. I just picked some blackberries and raspberries yesterday.
These look big enough to be domesticated as opposed to the wild ones.
But, look at that light! Delightful!
They grow in the wild. Maybe they just run away from someone's garden :) Not sure. The blackberries here are quite big. Maybe it's the type, or they really like the weather.
