This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
I have featured Koming or Komang in some of my previous posts since he is the one who rules the alleyway in my neighborhood. he is the chief of all the kids, since usually his friend will come and ask him to play around the neighborhood.
But now since he grew up a little bit, his toys changed, previously he was on his bicycle, but now he has turned to his scooter. His parents bought him this scooter for him to use. I know he is still too young to ride it into the street, but mostly he will ride it in the alleyway only. I hardly see him ride the scooter on the road. Very dangerous really to let him ride the bike on a busy road, where most of the people here don't really know or care about the road rules.
Back to him, he took out his scooter from the garage, and asked me to take some photos of him, although he refused to be my model sometime earlier. Maybe I will show you in my next post how he was trying to cover his face when I took his shot but then asked me for a copy of it. haha Maybe after seeing the result, he changed his mind and decided to pose with his scooter.
Look at his confidence, and how he smiles at the camera while riding his scooter.
The next thing was he stepped down from his bike and asked me only to shoot his scooter instead.
This one I took from the front, is very well maintained. Much better than my scooter. haha
A close-up shot of the small stripes and also the signal lamp. You can see a small scratch below the font sticker, he said he bumped it a little bit.
It is a scooter from Honda, with this model. Very small and convenient for the Indonesians with a smaller body.
A shot from behind, you can see here it doesn't have the rear mirrors, and also a modified break fluid container. A teenager who wanted to try scooter modification. : )

These shots are amazing and Koming is smart to ask you for copies of his photos, haha. It's good he changed his mind :)

i loved the detail shoots of the scooter, these looks really nice
Yes , that is what he told me, but I think he told me the truth, since he is the only one using it for quite sometime.
Haha, same with me. My parent's could only buy a bike for the whole family when I was in my last year of Senior High School time. hahah times changes.

Really cool shots here man, dude is proud of his bike and it’s certainly something to be proud of!
I love them in black and white - they make it very interesting to look at! Reminds me of an old war film or something haha
