How random was the moment we found each other.
How random was meeting and seeing in one another an unmatched companion.
A companionship we never could have found elsewhere because we are irreplaceable.
Wandering through the world was my state before colliding with your presence.
A collision so immense and remarkable in my path that my steps were never the same again.
How much longer would we have wandered, each without the other, before reaching our inevitable collision?
Our meeting is unequivocally certain and inevitable.
How dazzling the moment when we both found each other.
Qué azaroso el momento en que nos encontramos.
Qué azaroso habernos encontrado y ver el uno en el otro un compañero inigual.
Compañía que jamás habríamos encontrado porque no somos reemplazables.
Deambulando en el mundo me encontraba antes de chocar con tu presencia.
Un choque tan impresionante y gigante en mi camino que ya nunca mi andar volvió a ser el mismo.
Cuánto más hubiésemos pasado deambulando el uno sin el otro antes de llegar a nuestro inevitable choque.
Nuestro encuentro es inequívocamente certero e inevitable.

They are Ivo and Sonia, and this text is mine. I was inspired by these photographs, which share a common compositional relationship, and this was partly my idea when taking them. Since I started practicing dance, I’ve come to understand that the ways you can choose to represent something are almost infinite. You can use your body to express your pain, your longing, your joy. Similarly, you can convey frustration or empathy through images, or speak of how fulfilled or empty you feel today through words.
Ellos son Ivo y Sonia, y este texto es de mi autoría. Me inspiré en estas fotografías que guardan una misma relación compositiva, y era un poco mi idea al tomarlas. Desde que practico danza, entiendo que la forma en la que decidas representar algo es casi inagotable. Puedes usar el cuerpo para expresar tu dolor, tu anhelo, tu felicidad. De la misma forma, puedes expresar en imágenes la frustración, la empatía, o en palabras lo pleno que eres hoy o lo vacío que te encuentras.
Any means of expression is useful and will always be the best one, as long as you decide to express yourself. Contemplate your life and express yourself in the way you find, but don’t ever stop expressing yourself.
Cualquier medio de expresión es útil y será el mejor siempre y cuando decidas expresar. Contempla tu vida y exprésate de la forma que encuentres, pero no pares de expresarte.
