The curious eye|| Monomad

Hello friends of black and white and urban details. I'm one of those who when I go out on the street I'm always looking at the details, at anything that catches my attention, especially what doesn't seem interesting, the parts of something. Sometimes I stop to appreciate every little thing that anyone who sees me would say I'm in every silly thing, but that's how I am since I was a little kid, curious. Part of that is my proposal today, details of Old Havana. In this city there are lots of photogenic details, and if you stop to better appreciate the environment, they are infinite. Look how interesting a broken streetlight can be, or a rooftop in the shape of an airplane tail.

Street name signs fascinate me, as do the names themselves. The texture of a bare brick corner, the clotheslines of lights from one side of the street to the other, the chains with their little protective posts across the bay. Every detail has its own story, and if not we imagine one. With these images I want to make my entry to the daily challenge #monomad. I hope you like this "detailed" photographic proposal, see you!

Hola amigos del blanco y negro y de los detalles urbanos. Soy de los que cuando sale a la calle siempre me estoy fijando en los detalles, en cualquier cosa que me llame la atención, sobre todo lo que no parece interesante, las partes de algo. A veces me detengo a apreciar cada cosa que cualquiera que me ve diría que estoy en cada bobería, pero así soy desde chiquito, curioso. Parte de eso es mi propuesta de hoy, detalles de la Habana Vieja. En esta ciudad detalles fotogénicos hay por montones, y si te detienes a apreciar mejor el entorno, son infinitos. Mira cuan interesante puede ser una farola rota, o una azotea con forma de cola de avión. Los carteles de los nombres de las calles me fascinan, como también los nombres en sí. La textura de una esquina al ladrillo desnudo, las tendederas de luces de un lado a otro de la calle, las cadenas con sus pequeños postes protectores de la bahía. Cada detalle tiene su propia historia, y sino le imaginamos una. Con estas imágenes quiero hacer mi entrada al reto diario #monomad.
