City in pieces || Monomad

in Black And White2 months ago

Hello dear lovers of black and white photography and city details. On this occasion I want to share with you and with it make entry to the daily challenge #monomad, a series of random photographs, mostly closed shots and some details of pieces of my city. City that I love, even if it also falls apart, at least a good part of it. When for example I pass by a corner that is a collapse, that was someone's house, and it inevitably invites me to take some pictures of it. And this type of deconstruction is extremely attractive and interesting for photography, I would say that it is as photogenic as a model but in the dramatically opposite visual sense.

An old mailbox that has been a faithful friend of several generations of neighbors. A detail of any portal grille, some maracas - undeniably Cuban souvenirs that burst onto the sidewalk and make compliments to visitors who cross their path. A small stuffed monkey for the good luck of the bicitaxi's owner. The vestiges of what was once a nice wooden house. In short, so many pieces of the city that sometimes go unnoticed. I hope this photographic proposal will help you to appreciate with me these little glimpses. See you!
