his is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Boundary Bay
The following images were all taken on the same morning as I sent my morning scouting and searching for an elusive owl I'd heard was nesting down by Boundary Bay. I'd taken my large 500mm f4.5 lens, and a newly purchased vintage SMC Super Takumar 50mm f.18 that I'd adapted to my Fujifilm camera.
The following area all shots I took while searching the owl, SOOC, using a TriX400 Film simulated look that I've come to adore.
I never found the Owl :/
Lone Tree
Wonderful tones in these Geoff! I'm a fan of monochrome images and like you, I'm also searching for owls.
Owls are the bane of my wildlife photography! So hard to find. I usually end up shooting landscapes while looking.
And glad you like the monochrome, I've seriously debated shooting only monochrome sometimes
