A Dance in the Park.
Today, for the first time, I decided to go for a morning walk. Taking advantage of the fact that I'm not working and am still on leave, I went for a short walk around the Recoleta neighborhood, especially around the Law School and the United Nations Park, where the Metal Flower is located.
I have been to that place many times, but there is always something interesting to capture. Something new always appears, some decisive moment, something that can be immortalized through a photograph.
I was lucky enough to come across a couple dancing tango in this park, right in front of the Floralis Generica. It was a tourist attraction: a well-dressed couple seeking to attract tourists, inviting them to take photos with them, dance a few tango steps, and capture the moment, with the Floralis Generica in the background.

I have visited this park many times and taken numerous photos of this metallic flower. I have photographed the surroundings, the place, the details, nature, and people walking through the park, but this is the first time I have seen this couple offering this type of service.
It's not that it didn't exist before, but simply that I wasn't there at the right time on my previous visits.
I found it very elegant, wonderful, and super interesting. However, something that caught my attention was noticing their accent from a distance. The girl was speaking Portuguese, so she wasn't from Argentina, which I found quite curious.

Actually, I was taking a break at the time. I was sitting on the grass, and when I realized all this was happening there, I knew it was the perfect moment to take some photos. I immediately thought they should be in black and white; I saw it that way even before pressing the shutter button.
The elegant costumes, her smile—going back and forth, walking around, inviting tourists to take photos, to hire the service, to do a few tango steps—made it even more interesting.

Those who know tango know that it is a type of music that originated in Argentina, very elegant, typical of another era. All of this seemed like a very good idea to me and a theme quite different from what I usually do, which is street photography.
In the end, whenever I go out, I find something interesting, something captivating; you just have to know how to look a little.

That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
