Tailor Men 📸 Monomad Challenge

Tailoring is one of the skills that are starting to become rare in my city, most of them are old ages. Young people seem less interested in this job skill, as if there are no successors, on average tailors in my city are those who are old.

Sewing skills are not a difficult job, as the tailor uncle told me, but according to him; times have changed, young people choose more realistic jobs than becoming tailors.

Actually, there are quite a few designers who were born from ordinary tailors, but not everyone likes this job skill to go through the process.

In my city, tailors are starting to become rare, especially since they are generally old. This afternoon I happened to sew a pair of torn pants to a tailor. He was born in 1955, and in 4 months he will be 70 years old.

While he was sewing my pants; we chatted a little, he told me that the sewing skills he learned from his parents had been practiced for more or less 50 years, at first he didn't really like the job either. But his parents' message first; mastering one skill (sewing, carpentry, technician, etc.) will make it easier for you to live your life in the future.

He also started learning sewing from his parents, even so he did not continue to teach his children to pursue this field. And his children have succeeded in both government and private offices.

I also tried to ask why he was still sewing at an old age. With a smile he said; "sewing for him is no longer a job, but more of a hobby". He found his true self when he was in front of a sewing machine. And according to him this is the joy of life.

While chatting, I took some pictures while he was sewing my pants, and made it an entry for this monomad challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
