Poultry seller 📷 Monomad Challenge

Poultry is one of the consumption needs of people in Indonesia, including in the province of Aceh. Not only local people, even the Chinese community also really likes poultry as a complement to food dishes.

There are various types of poultry that are usually sold in the market, such as chickens, ducks and also rice birds. Apart from being cooked in curry, these birds are also fried and even grilled. It is not uncommon for restaurants around the city center to easily find this poultry dish.

Poultry consumption in my city can be said to be quite large, one trader alone can consume 400-500 birds every day. During holidays or religious celebrations, the number of birds sold can almost reach thousands of birds.

In terms of price, these birds are priced at varying prices, according to their size. Small sizes (suitable for consumption) are usually sold at IDR 35,000. For medium size, it costs IDR 55,000.-. Meanwhile, for large sizes, prices start at IDR 75,000 to 90,000.-.

The prices for types of poultry are also different, the price for ducks is somewhat higher than for broiler chickens or farm chickens. On this occasion I tried to take some pictures at the poultry sales place in my city, and of course used it as an entry for this Monomad Challenge.
